Then grab one of our “I give online” cards as you come in the door at each centre for worship and place on the offering plate as it is passed on. It’s also a great way to model giving to your children.

Pastor David announces retirement
LifeWay, we know that there is a season for everything. The season for saying goodbye to Pastor David and Barb is beginning. Pastor David has made the call to retire and his final service will be on Sunday 23rd July, 2.30pm at the Wollongong Church. Please pray for Pastor David and Barb as they begin this transition phase of their lives…and if you were going to invite them around for dinner, the time to act is NOW!
New sermon series on the book of Exodus
Like it or not, life is an education. We choose to learn from it or we bury our heads in the sand, telling ourselves that we know all we need to know. Learning can be fun and a blessed relief as we gird ourselves with the knowledge and skills to avert future catastrophes. It can also be an uncomfortable struggle with the reality of our own shortcomings. The story of the children of Israel is an opportunity for us to learn from other people’s mistakes and from the life-changing power of God’s grace in their lives. It’s a chance to shortcut our learning journey and make important detours around potential disasters on the road ahead. Journey with us on a Journey of Promise as we follow God’s leading to the promised land. Begins June 4.
Cambodia Mission Projects
Thank you, thank you, thank you! We have more than reached our goal, with $12,480 raised for the projects in Cambodia.
There are two projects that the MT 2023 team will be involved in:
- Building a garden and pergola area for the students at the local school together with students and staff at the Middle School.
- Building the first stage of a building for LifeWay Cambodia. Pastor Vibol is generously donating land he has bought so we can build a presence in the community. So we are looking to build an 11mX7m room as well as a toilet to run the computer classes, training and gather people in the community for worship.
Any further donations will go towards Vibol’s salary and ministry needs which is getting low, so any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
