ACTS 4:10

Then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you 

TO PONDER

Jesus rose from the dead. This truth means that death has been defeated and we don’t have any reason to fear it. That’s comforting as we consider our eternity, however the resurrection also has significance for our lives today! The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is living and working within us! We can live our lives with the confidence of eternity and also the confidence that Jesus is working in and through us. When we pray, we come to God with confidence, and we can stand boldly in the truth that our risen Lord is alive and working!

PRAYER: Jesus, thank you that you died and rose again to redeem me and defeat death. Help me to remember that the same power that raised you is working in me today. Help me to step boldly into my days, knowing I am not alone, my risen a Lord is with me, Amen.
